Digoin Sarreguemines bowl decoration La Fontaine

Adorable ceramic dish adorned with a golden rim and a beautiful design of coloured leaves. It is stamped underneath "Digoin Sarreguemines", as well as "genuine opaque" and the name of the design "la Fontaine". The design of the stamp indicates that this dish dates from after 1945, probably the 1950s or 60s. This dish can have many uses: for snacks at aperitifs, sauce during meals, or even as a catch-all or soap dish. It is in very good condition, neither cracked nor chipped, just a few rare signs that testify to its age: some small stains under the base and tiny losses on the golden rim, as well as a small original defect: a slight raised "line" (see photo). It measures 21 cm in length, 14 cm in width, and 2.5 cm in maximum height.
