Large square coffee table with bar by Willy Rizzo, Italy, 1970s

A striking and highly distinctive coffee table designed by the renowned Italian designer Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot in the 1970s. With its impressive 120 X 120 cm size, this statement piece immediately commands attention in any interior. The table is crafted entirely from red laminated wood, creating a bold and sophisticated look. The upper surface features a rich dark red laminate, adding warmth and contrast to the otherwise dramatic design. At the centre of the table is a stainless-steel integrated bar, designed to be filled with ice and used for keeping bottles and drinks cool. This clever feature makes the table not only a beautiful design object, but also a highly functional piece for entertaining guests. The table is in good condition with the characteristic signs of age and use that can be expected from an original piece dating from the 1970s.
