Succumb to the glamorous and sophisticated design of the 1970s with this stunning rectangular coffee table, the iconic "Alveo" model designed by the renowned designer and photographer Willy Rizzo and published by Mario Sabot. A centrepiece for a living room, it stands out with its burl veneer [of thuya / myrtle / walnut] featuring dense, warm, and deeply contrasted grains. Its original high-gloss finish beautifully captures light and highlights the nobility of the wood's natural patterns. At the centre, its iconic built-in bottle holder in gilded brass (which can also serve as an indoor planter or an elegant catch-all) provides the perfect contrast between the raw style of the burl and the chic of the gilded metal, an essential signature of Willy Rizzo's creations. The lower corners of the table are also protected and adorned with discreet brass accents. A high-end vintage piece of furniture, with a minimalist and ultra-elegant aesthetic, typical of the jet-set of the Seventies.
