Green crystal and gilt brass bowl by Cristal & Bronze Paris

Green crystal bowl and its gilt brass base, made by the Parisian company Cristal & Bronze. The company was founded in 1937. It specializes in the manufacture of high-end bathroom accessories and faucets for decorators and architects worldwide. Recognized as a "Living Heritage Company" (EPV) by the French government in 2013, Cristal & Bronze has joined the select group of French companies with exceptional manual and industrial expertise. The bowl for sale is a piece made in the 1960s by artisans skilled in glasswork, metalwork, and gilding. The base, decorated with a palmette motif, and the rim of the glass are made of gilt brass. Very good condition with no cracks or chips, some wear consistent with age, and a small area of missing gilding on the brass (see photos). The manufacturer's sticker and the "Made in France" inscription are engraved under the brass base. Dimensions: Height 4 cm, diameter 8 cm, base diameter 6.5 cm. Weight without packaging: 323 g.
