The glass features fine air bubbles and some slight manufacturing inclusions, characteristic of antique glassware. Its edge is delicately scalloped and finished with a grinding wheel, offering a neat finish and a beautiful play of light. The frame, finely moulded and richly decorated, has a beautiful homogeneous antique patina that attests to its authenticity. The whole constitutes an elegant decorative piece, ideal as a centrepiece, compote, or fruit bowl. Period: early 20th century, circa 1900-1925. Style: Louis XVI. Materials: thick glass bowl and patinated spelter frame. Condition: very good state of preservation. No cracks or chips observed on the glass. Beautiful original patina with some signs of use and oxidation consistent with the age of the piece.
