Ancient brush pot (or small cylindrical vase) in Asian ceramic, dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century (late Qing / Republican period). Hand-painted underglaze decoration, depicting a traditional scene with a scholar (or digit) accompanied by a young child. It has a very beautiful effect of crackled glaze. Base unsigned. Notable overall appearance of the patina: a fine crack (hairline) is visible on the upper neck and in the photos. Dimensions: height of 10.3 cm and a diameter of 7.2 cm.
