Superb pair of Japanese egg cups made of fine porcelain. Refined polychrome decoration, hand-painted, depicting geishas in a traditional garden of wisteria and cherry blossoms. The delicacy of the lines and the richness of the colours, particularly the characteristic coral red, add a touch of vintage elegance to your table or collection. The signature under the base indicates Dai Nippon (Great Japan), a typical mark from the Meiji era or the early Showa era.
