We are pleased to offer this exceptional Georgian wardrobe in flame mahogany dating from around 1760, made during the lifetime of the famous Thomas Chippendale and following his designs. The wardrobe is English, decorated with Corinthian pillars in gilded bronze and mounted on a superior quality mahogany structure that shines under good light. It features two large glove drawers in the upper part and three wide drawers in the lower part. The piece has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, showing a patina and character developed over its more than 260 years of existence, with some small losses and minor wear. A complete restoration can be carried out upon request. Dimensions: Height 221 cm, Width 161 cm, Depth 57 cm. Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age and use, minor losses and discolourations.
