Antique oak and gilded bronze wardrobe, Netherlands, 19th century.

Dutch oak wardrobe from the mid-19th century, featuring an elegant serpentine front base and three drawers. The pilasters, cut at a forty-five-degree angle, are prominent and finely carved. Inside the first drawer, there is a layout for a cutlery set. The upper part consists of two panel doors with sculpted frames and half-turned columns, enhanced with bases and capitals in gilded bronze. The cornice, shaped and decorated with a central sculpture of a basket of flowers and leaves, adds a distinctive touch. The upper lock entries, made of embossed and gilded metal sheet, and the lower ones, designed like the handles, complete the refined design of this historic piece of furniture.
