George III Sheraton linen cupboard in walnut, circa 1760.

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb original linen cupboard, fully restored, in the George III Sheraton style, dating from around 1760-1780, with a base featuring two drawers out of two. It is a very well-crafted and collectible piece, fully functional, with the upper part modified to be used as a classic wardrobe thanks to a hanging rail. The base drawers provide ample storage capacity. The restoration has been carried out with care, preserving the original patina and applying a light French wax finish to enhance its natural colour. The piece measures 225 cm in height, 127 cm in width, and 59 cm in depth. Some ring handles are recent replacements, but period pieces will be installed upon their arrival. This period furniture shows natural signs of aging and use, which are normal for a piece over 260 years old.
