Rustic Farmhouse Painted Secretaire / Chest of Drawers

This antique secretary desk dates from around 1850 and features a highly decorative, heavily weathered ochre yellow painting. The beautiful, lived-in patina gives the piece a unique appearance. The cabinet is practically arranged with three spacious drawers at the bottom and a charming interior with five smaller drawers behind the flap. The whole is in original condition, except for the back legs, which have been expertly replaced in the past. Old, sporadic traces of woodworm have been carefully treated and checked.
