Vintage German ceiling lamp in chrome and glass from the space age by Motoko Ishii for Staff, 1970s.

Impressive Space Age ceiling or wall lamp by Staff based on a design by Japanese designer Motoko Ishii. A simple cylindrical rod forms the base of the lamp. At the upper end of the cylinder, there is a small E14 socket onto which a mirrored glass globe is screwed. The lamp is mounted against the wall with a plate. A special feature is the screw-on glass globe, which protects the lamp and visually enlarges it. The small E14 bulb resembles a globe bulb. The transparent volume gives the entire design a certain lightness. The lamp is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear.
