Vintage German Space Age Brass Ceiling Lamp by Motoko Ishii for Staff, 1970s

Imposing mid-century chandelier for ceiling or wall in Staff according to the design by Japanese designer Motoko Ishii. Here in a rare version in brass with a gold-coloured mirror ball. This light fixture can be mounted on the ceiling or wall. Individually, in clusters, or in a row. A particular feature is the screw-on glass ball that protects the lamp and optically enlarges it. The small E14 lamp then takes on the appearance of a globe lamp. The transparent volume gives the whole a certain lightness. The light fixture is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
