Vintage German table lamp in chrome and glass by Motoko Ishii for Staff.

Impressive mid-century table lamp by Staff designed by Japanese designer Motoko Ishii. This design is appealing due to its reflective surface. A cylindrical axis sits on a round base plate. At the upper end of the cylinder, a small E14 socket is screwed in, onto which a glass mirror ball is attached. A special feature is the screw-on glass ball that protects the bulb and optically enlarges it. The small E14 bulb resembles a globe bulb. The transparent volume gives the whole piece a certain lightness. Another special characteristic of this table lamp is the diagonal mirror glass.
