Bernard Buffat - large bowl - unique piece

Bernard BUFFAT – Large bowl, unique piece. When ceramics become a painting. A work to place, to look at, to keep. This large bowl by Bernard Buffat is an abstract composition of rare intensity. Incised white lines create a play of shapes, stripes, and dots. An ochre sun emerges amidst chocolate, burgundy, moss green, and turquoise patches. The glazes, nuanced and granular, capture light like a master painting. The reverse, with greenish-grey glazes speckled with ochre and black, is as beautiful as the front. The artist has affixed his monogram and the hand-painted mention "UNIQUE PIECE." Placed on a console, a sideboard, or a coffee table, it becomes the focal point of the room. It fits well with both a modernist interior and a bohemian-chic decor or a Haussmannian apartment. HAND DELIVERY ONLY IN THE SAINT-TROPEZ GULF AREA.
