This sloping desk in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer includes a lower part opening with a drawer in the belt. This drawer has an original working key and lock. This all-sided piece of furniture rests on four turned gadrooned legs. The trapezoid-shaped upper part is set back from the bottom. We find a flap resting on the lower tray. The facade is enhanced by flamed mahogany in a nuanced color. The brass lock is accompanied by a surface-mounted entrance in the shape of a diamond. Inside, the flap is trimmed in green leather with a central pattern, gold sticker and cold sticker. We see a large drawer in the lower part, two smaller ones above and a storage space. ******** period: 1st part of the 19th century excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
