Selling a very beautiful curved front chest of drawers in Louis XV / Regency style, opening with three large drawers. This is a style piece from the second half of the 20th century, particularly robust, heavy, and of very fine craftsmanship (industrial art cabinetmaking). Characteristics and finishes: Material: Entirely made of solid oak for the top, sides, and outer structure (magnificent visible wood grain). Front: Elegant arched shape with a richly carved lower rail featuring a central shell and scrolls. Hardware: Superb drop handles and matching lock entries in original gilded brass/bronze. Construction: Very sound and clean structure. Drawers mounted on straight mechanical dovetails, offering excellent durability for everyday use.
