Elegant Louis XV / Regency style commode, featuring a superb arched front with three large storage drawers. The cabinetmaking highlights a warm light wood with a luminous patina. The drawer fronts are accentuated by delicate sinuous mouldings, and each drawer has its own pull handles as well as original patinated bronze lock entries. The lower rail is carved with a refined central floral motif. The whole piece rests on short, curved and sculpted feet characteristic of the period.
