Louis XV style tomb commode

Imposing tomb chest in Louis XV style dating from the late 19th century. 4 drawers, oak structure and rosewood marquetry. Gilded and chiselled bronze fittings. Curved red Caunes marble in the shape of the chest with moulded edges. The sides are curved both horizontally and vertically. The drawers are concave and convex. High quality of workmanship. Presence of traces of wood-boring insects; the piece has been treated with care and success. In overall good condition. This very decorative chest offers a large storage volume.
