Copper suspension "Kastor" by Jo Hammerborg

A rare copper version of the "Kastor" pendant by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup (Denmark, 1960s). An emblematic example of Scandinavian modernism! This exceptional high-end piece is constructed from layered copper shells, elegantly separated by brass spacers, offering a spectacular sculptural presence. The interior is lacquered in orange, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. When illuminated, the lamp beautifully disperses light and projects a subtle starry pattern on the ceiling. One of Hammerborg's most striking and refined designs, remaining in excellent condition, with only a slight natural patina on the copper.
