Vintage Danish pendant lamp Nova by Jo Hammerborg, Fog and Morup, 1963

Nova brass lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963. When lit, the lamp emits a soft downward light without glare, making it ideal for low suspensions, while the shiny surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of the recurring themes in Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals: copper, brass, and aluminium. Dimensions: Diameter: 41 cm. Height: 18 cm. The lamp is in very good condition for its age. It shows slight signs of wear. The lamp has been carefully cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one.
