Black and red chinoiserie wardrobe – illuminated vintage furniture

Decorative wooden armoire with painted decoration in the Asian style, adorned with floral scenes and polychrome birds on a black background. The sides are also decorated with plant motifs, while the interior, painted in deep red, offers a striking visual contrast. The piece opens with two central doors, revealing a storage space with a shelf, as well as a closed upper compartment. It includes an original interior lamp, providing soft light ideal for highlighting displayed objects. At the back, a space has been created to accommodate a television, with cable passage provided at the top, indicating its use as a TV unit in the 1960s–70s. Likely European work in the style of chinoiseries, dating from the second half of the 20th century. A strong decorative piece, which can be used as a TV unit, bar, bookshelf, or additional storage in an eclectic or bohemian interior.
