Filicudi Coffee Table by Ettore Sottsass for Zanotta

Rare coffee table from the Filicudi series, designed by Ettore Sottsass and Marco Zanini for Zanotta in 1993. A distinctive, sculptural design resting on four diabolo-shaped beechwood legs, giving the piece a playful yet well-balanced presence. The top is made of polychrome, screen-printed laminate by Abet Laminati, known for its collaborations with Sottsass and its role within the postmodern (Memphis) design movement of the period. The interplay of graphic pattern, colour, and form results in a strong visual statement without losing refinement. The coffee table is in very good vintage condition.
