Antique Napoleon III toilet in walnut burl and marble

Antique piece in the Napoléon III style, dating approximately from the second half of the 19th century. Made of walnut burl veneer with beautiful symmetrical "leaf" patterns, this piece features an upper compartment with a drop-down front, fully dressed in veined white marble (probably Carrara) on the back and sides, as well as a mirror integrated into the inside of the lid. The fittings and ring handles are made of original patinated brass. It has 4 drawers with locks, all functional. The walnut burl is of remarkable quality and depth of pattern. There are a few light scratches visible on the top, normal for a piece of this age, without detracting from its overall elegance. Dimensions: L. 80 cm × D. 47 cm × H. 94 cm. Solid and heavy piece.
