Antique washstand in walnut burl and white marble – 19th century

Charming washstand dating from the second half of the 19th century. The piece is made of walnut burl with a beautiful curved front and opens with four drawers. Its interior is entirely lined with veined white marble, complemented by its original mirror integrated into the lid. The drawers retain their original striped fabric lining, attesting to the authenticity of the whole. This type of furniture was intended for daily grooming in bourgeois homes before the advent of modern bathrooms. As is.
