Bouquet of flowers by Pierre Forest (1881-1971)

Oil on canvas by Pierre Forest depicting a bouquet of flowers in a vase with daisies and poppies. Pierre Forest was a French painter born on 21 November 1881 in Nice and died on 17 December 1971 in Paris. He was a painter of landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, flowers, and a pastellist of the skies of Paris. The painting is signed at the bottom left. In good used condition, with the original frame.
