Miniature French provincial style cabinet / striking French design from the 1890s-1900s. Made of bird's eye maple and faux bamboo, this piece of craftsmanship is a true example of the decorative changes that occurred after Napoleon III's stay in the Far East. In very good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The mirror is recent, the key missing. Two shelves inside, one drawer at the bottom. Width: 37.3 cm.
