Antique 19th-century chest of drawers with 4 drawers

Antique oak chest of drawers. 19th century. Four drawers, one hidden under the top. Country chest of drawers found in a small farmhouse in Picardy, in the Hauts-de-France region. Classic lines. Slightly Louis Philippe style, though it leans more towards regional craftsmanship. Some surfaces are left unfinished, such as the drawer interiors and the back of the chest. Plenty of storage. Relatively practical. Fairly lightweight. It would look great in a living room or bedroom. Some imperfections, given the age of the piece. The two oak planks of the top have warped and are no longer joined. There is also a slight unevenness in height. A few stains remain, despite light sanding to preserve the original patina. The wood has also been treated. A rare find. Full of charm and elegance.
