Solid oak commode with three drawers, Louis XIII style, 18th century period. The silhouette is simple and stocky, characteristic of the Louis XIII repertoire. The drawer fronts are adorned with moulded relief cartouches, arranged in three horizontal registers. The side panels feature an arched moulded decoration. The piece rests on four turned ball feet, typical of the style. The brass handles with floral rosettes are later additions, confirmed by the seller. The back construction is traditional, made of raw boards assembled with old forged nails. The interior of the drawers reveals wide dovetails as well as signs of aging. The visible parts present a beautiful quality old patina. Dimensions: H. 100 cm – W. 146 cm – Estimated weight: 80 kg. Delivery possible, please contact the seller for details.
