Solid high quality teak art deco secretaire by gerson’s furniture store, produced in bangkok, 1930s. Beautiful marquetry and all-in solid wood. When the deks opens there is another beautiful storage room with a wood inlayed door, this doo can be opened with a hidden slide that is incorporated in the left shelf. Als the doors at the bottom of the cabinet has a hidden slide at the bottom of the cabinet to open. A lock is hidden behind the ying/yang lock plate at the top. The plate and handles of the drawers are made of bone. The cabinet is marked with “gerson’s furniture store, bangkok, siam”. Dimensions: 140cm w, 136cmh, 37cm d, 80cm d when the lid is down.
