Pair of Carved Golden Wood Accent Chairs

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent pair of very important accent chairs, hand-carved with golden wood accents. These are highly decorative side chairs, likely made by a significant individual, featuring phoenix heads, floral garlands surrounding harps, pinnacle-shaped tops, and pineapples in tribute to Queen Victoria. They have been recently reupholstered in a majestic royal blue fabric with an elegant pattern. Cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom, they show normal signs of age-related patina and use. Dimensions: Height 83 cm, seat height 49 cm, width 42 cm, depth 45.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the description regarding the condition. Note that vintage pieces like leather seats always have a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. Regular waxing is recommended to prevent moisture loss. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to sunlight, as it may dry out and discolour.
