Handcrafted stoneware candlestick. France, circa 1950. Glazed stoneware, hand-shaped in a rustic style typical of French workshops from the mid-20th century. Its conical shape with a large handle evokes the old "cellar rat" candlesticks, designed for easy transport. Height: 11 cm. Diameter: 14 cm. Speckled glaze in brown and ochre tones, with natural verdigris touches due to the firing. Signature to be identified.
