Blue stoneware candlestick signed Emile Masson

Charming blue glazed stoneware candlestick. It is signed by the ceramist Emile Masson. Émile MASSON, a recognised ceramist, began his career in Vallauris in the 1950s working at Grandjean-Jourdan, then he settled in Savoie in 1970 in Bourg Saint Maurice. He stopped producing ceramics in 1995. The shape of the candlestick is inspired by old candlesticks known as "cellar rats". It measures 11 cm in diameter at the base and 8 cm in height. It is in perfect condition.
