This sculptural Swedish chair 'Kubbstol' (trunk chair) is carved from a single solid birch trunk, an emblematic example of traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship from the mid-20th century. The chair showcases the natural beauty of birch with two striking expressions: the smooth and warm inner shell, richly adorned with organic flame-like patterns, and the rough outer base where the raw, pale wood retains the original character of the tree.
