An authentic primitive stump chair made from a single piece of solid wood. The seat is reupholstered in high-quality lamb's wool. Hand-carved by a Swedish cabinetmaker in the early 20th century. A unique and heavy wabi-sabi piece. The overall condition is good for this vintage item, with a beautiful patina. Wabi-sabi is the vision or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is the aesthetic of things in existence that are imperfect, ephemeral, and incomplete.
