Mid-Century Teak Moon Lamps, 1960s, set of 2

Vintage design. Moon lamps in wood. These lights are attributed to various manufacturers and designers. Classic moon lamp design by Verner Panton. The materiality and design evoke the wooden panels of Hans-Agne Jakobsson. The body of the fixture consists of annular fins arranged radially around the bulb. The fins can be manually adjusted around the pivot point to determine the shape and lighting effect of the light. The boards serve as reflectors and glare protection. The lights showcase intricate details rarely found in other moon lamps. The sockets are fitted with wooden panels and have a solid wood canopy. The lights are in very good condition with signs of wear. Design attributed to Verner Panton and Hans-Agne Jakobsson (?). Possible manufacturer Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, Markaryd. Model: Moon lamp.
