Old pine locker furniture – 24 compartments

An old pine piece of English style, completely reimagined in the workshop to offer it a new function. Its 24 open compartments make it a piece that is both practical and decorative, ideal for displaying and organising tableware, books, collections, or everyday items. The missing drawers have been replaced with 24 custom-made shelves in oak and ash. Each compartment has been arranged to create a harmonious, open, and functional ensemble. Carefully restored in my workshop in Provence, I work under the name Une Hirondelle à l’atelier. A workshop specialising in characterful antique furniture, stemming from folk art or trade furniture. Each piece is chosen for its authenticity, restored without altering its essence, and designed to find a place in a contemporary interior.
