Shigeto Box library by Vico Magistretti for Depadova, Italy 1990

In the philosophy of De Padova, which also aligns with Magistretti's approach, furniture must adapt to different contexts. Thus, the Shigeto Box version, in the form of a bookshelf, is the solution for furnishing a space intended to be multifunctional, whether it be a living room, kitchen, or study/office and hobby area. The bookshelf has a cherry wood structure, and the upper part is completely open. By utilising a series of dividing panels that can be placed in different positions, the Shigeto Box can modify its grid structure, allowing it to hold anything from books to decorative items or electronic elements. It is enhanced at the bottom with four external drawers made of anodised silver aluminium, two of which are extremely spacious. The back is fully finished wood, so the bookshelf can also serve as a partition to divide spaces. Moving it is very easy thanks to the swivel wheels with an anti-static rubber ring. The front wheels are equipped with a locking system. The condition is excellent, with only a few very slight marks (no chipping) in some resting areas (see photo with red circle). Two pieces are available.
