Restored leather Chesterfield sofa in Regency style

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent vintage Chesterfield sofa in Regency style, fully restored and hand-dyed in cigar brown leather. This buttoned sofa, reminiscent of a Regency shooting club, is elegant and sophisticated, based on a design over 200 years old. It has been completely restored with the replacement of several leather panels, then recoloured, hand-dyed six times, patinated, sealed, waxed, and polished. The result is a sofa full of character and a very successful patina of use. The dimensions are: height 75 cm, width 140 cm, depth 75 cm, seat height 45 cm. The leather has a natural patina with cracks and creases due to age; regular waxing is recommended to maintain moisture, and the hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for too long to avoid drying out and discolouration.
