Set of 5 chair Thonet bistrot N°14 1/2 cans

Set of five Thonet chairs n°14 and a half circa 1900, The 1/2 format (or KleinSstühle / "small chair") appeared as early as 1885 at Thonet in order to optimize seating capacities in public establishments. The model here present in half is the "elegant" version of 1903 with 46 cm seat height. Intended for pretty interiors! Seat diameter: 37 cm, total height: 82 cm. Thonet stamp under each seat. They are all equipped with original reinforcements, the small comma in addition. Very good general condition and patina of lived - tone of American mahogany origin. The cannings have been redone in manual with 6 wires recently. We can equip these chairs free of charge with screwed skates (origin Germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where they will be used. Work done after purchase.
