Three-compartment teak wall cabinet by Kai Kristiansen for FM Mobler, Denmark, 1960s

This Danish teak shelving system, both aesthetic and extremely functional, was designed in the 1960s by Danish design icon Kai Kristiansen for renowned furniture manufacturer Feldballes Møbelfabrik. Designed to be both aesthetic and highly functional, this wall unit is crafted from warm-toned teak wood, showcasing a beautiful wood grain pattern on the inside and outside of the cabinets. This beautiful modular wall unit consists of eight elegant shelves, one of which bears a “Made in Denmark” sticker, four beautifully veneered metal rails, a glass door cabinet, a drop-down door cabinet and finally a sliding door cabinet. At the same time, thanks to the large spaces between the components, it does not give the impression of being overloaded.
