Hansen and Guldborg 3 bay teak wall unit, Denmark 1960s

This impressive teak wall unit designed by Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen was made by renowned Danish manufacturer Hansen & Guldborg (HG Furniture) some time in the 1960s. Constructed from rich teak wood and teak veneer, the system showcases the warm tone and grain that define Scandinavian furniture of the era. Overall size is H:  209 / W: 273 / D: 40 cm. The composition includes three spacious cabinets with adjustable interior shelves and a drop-door cabinet that can perfectly serve as a bar cabinet with special interior profiled shelves. Seven shelves provide ample display space for books and decorative objects. The modular system is supported by solid teak wall-mounted rails with original brackets, allowing easy adjustment and reconfiguration of all elements according to your needs. Perfect vintage addition for the living room, bedroom, and office. This is the earlier version of H&G units with wooden brackets. The set includes: 3 cabinets with internal shelves H: 49 / W: 89.5 / D: 40 cm, Bar cabinet with internal shelves H: 40 / W: 89.5 / D: 30 cm, with door open 67 cm depth,  7 shelves 22 cm depth, 4 solid teak mounting rails, 209 cm in height, Solid teak brackets. The unit has been fully renovated—the wood has been carefully cleaned and refinished with professional compounds to highlight its natural depth of color and ensure long-lasting durability. All components fit perfectly. The label confirms the authenticity of the furniture’s origin. Overall, the wall unit remains in excellent vintage condition.
