Pair of bathroom wall lights designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) for the Swedish manufacturer Ifö, 1960s. Model 6020. Dark blue glazed ceramic with conical opal glass shade. These wall lights are often wrongly attributed to Sigvard Bernadotte who worked for Ifö at the same time. In perfect condition and complete with their included wall brackets. Dimensions: 11 x 7 x 21 cm high. For E14 screw bulb, maximum 40W. About the designer: Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior designer and furniture designer. He was particularly known for his lighting fixtures, many of which have become collector's items. He studied architecture in Gothenburg and, after graduating, worked as an industrial designer at General Motors. As Carl Malmsten's assistant, he founded Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd in 1951. Hans-Agne designed this flagship Ifö Electric model from the 1960s.
