Pairs of wall lights designed for the bathroom by Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) for the Swedish publisher Ifö, 1960s. Model 6020. Brown caramel glazed ceramic with conical opal glass shade. These wall lights are often incorrectly attributed to Sigvard Bernadotte, who worked for Ifö at the same time. In perfect condition and complete with their wall mounts included. Dimensions: 11 X 7 X 21 cm in height. For E14 screw bulb, maximum 40W. About the designer: Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior architect and furniture designer. He was particularly known for his lighting fixtures, many of which have become collector's items. He studied architecture in Gothenburg and, after graduating, worked as an industrial designer at General Motors. An assistant to Carl Malmsten, he founded the company Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB in Markaryd in 1951. Hans-Agne designed this flagship model for Ifö Electric in the sixties.
