Elegant small table, also known as a salon table or writing table, made of cherry wood, in Louis XV style. Work from the early 20th century. With its curved lines and lightness, this small salon table was originally designed to be easily moved as needed. The cabriole legs end in discreet little hoofs. The apron features a shaped cut-out at the bottom, adding visual softness to the whole. Its top, known as a Corbin beak, has a slightly raised and moulded edge, which helps to hold objects in place. It is covered in intact dark leather, adorned with a small gilded vignette around the edge, and a central motif: a flower. This elegant small table has two small side drawers with finely chiselled gilded bronze pull handles. A charming and refined accent piece that combines utility with pleasure. In very good condition. Perfect stability. Please feel free to contact me for more information, and add us to your favourites to keep up with our latest offerings!.
