Rosewood and Marquetry Desk Table, Louis XV style – Early 20th century

All-sided desk, in rosewood veneer with a framed top with diagonal veneer with diamond marquetry in the center, separated by a lemon tree fillet. This top is slightly animated and adorned with a ribbed brass ingot mold. This piece of furniture has a belt drawer whose front is inlaid with diamonds surrounded by bronze sticks formed of scrolls.
