Writing table / lady's desk in Louis XV style – Marquetry and gilded bronze

Elegant writing table in Louis XV style, made of marquetry, resting on four curved legs. The rectangular top with flowing contours features beautiful chevron marquetry, adorned in its center with a floral decoration and attributes in various wood species. It is highlighted around its edge with a brass or bronze gallery. The front opens with a belt drawer, equipped with a bronze lock entry. The uprights and falls are enriched with gilded bronze ornaments, elegantly extending along the curved legs, finished with hooves. The whole presents a lovely silhouette characteristic of Louis XV taste, with decorative marquetry in warm tones.
