Laundry by the river, India circa 1960

Launderers or dhobi walla according to the hindi word by a river in rajasthan. You have to see them hitting and twisting the laundry, a familiar sight for the traveler. The long saris, seven meters long, are then spread on the banks that they cover with their motifs. Pigment print of 30x40 cm made in our workshop by our master shooter on ultrasmooth archival 260g paper. Limited edition of 36 titled and numbered prints in the pencil margin. This image is also available in 24x30 cm (edition of 99) at the price of 75€.
