The series Salt Lake, which also has a book, shows how people were convinced that bathing in this pond, fed by the effluents from nearby soda factories, was excellent for their health and would cure all sorts of ailments. In this setting, reminiscent of death camps (sheds, tracks), elderly people, cheerful and relaxed, bathe up to their waists as old people do in all countries of the world.
