Large sculptural ceramic vase with a particularly original design, in the spirit of the brutalist creations of the 1960s-1970s. This piece features a tall, architectural silhouette, composed of a slightly flared tubular body at the base, to which several geometric relief elements are added. The decoration, made up of angular shapes and added elements, creates an almost totemic abstract composition, straddling the line between vase and contemporary sculpture. The surface showcases beautiful shades of terracotta, brick red, and brown, with a more orange gradient towards the base. The contrast between the smoothness of the vase's surface and the raw appearance of the sculpted elements adds richness to the whole. This piece evokes the explorations of ceramists in the second half of the 20th century, who broke free from traditional forms to explore new volumes and favor a more sculptural approach to clay. Anonymous ceramist, workshop to be identified. A unique piece with a strong decorative presence that will naturally find its place in a contemporary, brutalist, or vintage interior. Dimensions: Height: 35 cm. Diameter: 11 cm. Condition: presence of a hairline crack on the lower part of the vase. Very minimally visible. Sold as is, in accordance with the photographs.
